Oven Buttermilk Fried Chicken

Everybody loves FRIED CHICKEN! But fried chicken isn’t the healthiest option. Wondering how to get the same delicious chicken using NO OIL? This recipe solves that problem.
Ingredients :
– 200 g flour
– 100 g breadcrumbs
– Paprika
– Pepper
– Salt
– Cayenne Pepper
– Garlic Powder
– Onion Powder
– 4 crushed honey and oats granola bars
– 500 ml Buttermilk
– 100 ml melted butter (about 6.5 tablespoons)
– 20 pieces chicken (whichever you may prefer)
Instruction :
1. Coat the chicken in the spices you prefer (paprika, salt, pepper, cayenne, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder etc) and then cover with the buttermilk
2. Let the chicken marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 6 hours in the spice and buttermilk mixture
3. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, breadcrumbs, crushed granola bars, and spices together. Remember this is the coating of the chicken to make sure it has a lot of flavors.
4. Once the dry ingredients are mixed together and the chicken has marinated in the marinated. Remove the pieces of chicken from the marinade and coat them in the dry seasoning.
5. Once all you chicken has been marinated and then coated with the seasoning, place the pieces on a baking tray and brush the top of the chicken pieces with the melted butter for golden crispy chicken.
6. Bake in the oven for 35-45min at 210 Celsius which is 410 Fahrenheit. (Don’t forget to preheat the oven)
