Oven Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients :

- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs - cut into wide strips
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
3 tbs rice wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
2 tsp sesame oil
3 cloves garlic minced
2 tbs cornstarch
2 tbs cold water
2 cups steamed broccoli (optional)

Instruction :

1.Preheat oven to 400°F. Add all ingredients except chicken and broccoli to a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently. Simmer until sauce thickens to a glaze-like consistency.
2. Place chicken pieces in an oven safe dish. When the sauce is ready to pour over chicken. Stir to coat and spread out into an even layer. Place in oven. Bake 30-35 minutes uncovered.
3. Remove from oven. Let rest 5-10 minutes. Serve over rice with broccoli and enjoy!
