HARVEST BEAN CASSEROLE
INGREDIENTS:
28 ounces baked beans
3 medium, sliced green onions
2 baking apples, thinly sliced
1 pound of turkey or pork breakfast sausage
18 ounces vacuum packed sweet potatoes
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Cook sausage in 10 inch skillet over medium heat, for 8 - 10 minutes.
Stirring occasionally, until no longer pink., drain.
Place sausage in ungreased rectangular baking dish., 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inches.
Stir in baked beans.
Arrange apple slices over sausage mixture.
Slice sweet potatoes over apples.
Cover and bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until apples are tender.
Sprinkle with onions.
Time : Approx. 50 minutes. 6 Servings
