BARBECUED CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped tomato ( or tomato paste )
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
DIRECTIONS:
Set you oven control is to broil.
Place chicken breasts on a rack in broiler pan.
Mix chopped tomatoes, sesame oil, ginger and garlic.
Brush some of hoisin sauce over chicken.
Broil with tops about 5 - 6 inches from heat 8 - 9 minutes or until chicken browned.
Turn, brush with some sauce , broil 5 - 6 minutes longer or until chicken is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.
Heat remaining sauce to boiling, boil about 1 minute.
Serve with chicken.
Time: approx. 20 minutes, 4 Servings
